POPCORN IS FOR DIETS! No this is not a joke. Studies find that eating healthy popcorn can be good for you. But don’t eat the theater stuff and think you are being healthy. Doing it at home is the better option. GMO’s are not a real concern with popcorn as of yet, so there is one less worry.

Next don’t load your popcorn with heavy butter, and pop it in something like olive oil. Studies show that popcorn is high in antioxidants. It is also high in fiber. Snacking on it will help you feel full and will curb your desire to eat a full meal.

Using one of the flavored seasonings that is not heavy in salt is the best. And of course eating it plain is even better. Overall it is also a better choice for a snack for those not able to eat nuts. Also keep in mind that it is not a replacement for fruits and vegies.

So feel free to pop some healthy popcorn at home and take it with you as a snack. Just remember to continue to eat the healthy fruits and vegies as a part of your daily intake. POPCORN IS FOR DIETS!
