WOODS GET TO WALK? Could be. After 4 days at the masters Tiger woods finished at 13 over par. He has the best last name as he spent a lot of time in the woods. But Tiger was once known for a great short game. Not any more. Watching on Saturday to see him double bogey a hole from 5 foot and 3 foot.
Hitting a lot of bunkers, overshooting greens and playing a lot from the rough was his performance. At one point even watching him trying to break a club on his knee. Some would say that he deserves a break because of the trauma to his leg; And others just prefer to call him a hack.
The way the masters works is if you have ever won the masters then you automatically are in in the future. This being said; If you make high scores, or you are an embarrassment to the tournament, or yourself then you are encouraged to not come back.
But for most I believe that they are thinking what I was thinking. His heart just was not in the game. Both his long and short games sucked bad. I would not be surprised to hear that the masters does not want him back for a while.
Maybe the best thing for him is to go out and win a few on the PGA tour or some of the other events before trying the masters again. His performance over the 4 days was definitely not that of a master, And even some of the armature’s performed better than he did. He left the tournament in 47th place with only 5 other players behind him the worst in 52nd place.
