Coachella FLOPELLA. Though the people that were there seemed to be enjoying the concerts and music; The online community not so much. Because there was a lot of lip syncing going on. Reports also claim that quite a few that were there; Wanted at least 1/2 refund off the price they paid to get in.
Others online noticed that the mic volume was so low that the CC was barely working. So much for the hearing impaired being entertained. And the few times that the CC was working, was during rap. And needless to say it was wrong. Bad YT. And with 88Rising (rapper) rapping about bitches, D@#$ and such, Wonder if he will get hit with “Cultural Appreciations” being he is Asian? or the ‘N” word for that matter, which I herd many times.
There were those online Saturday night that were actually there on Friday and stated that the event; “SUCKED” this year. UTADA seemed to be bad nervous and the online audience noticed as well. But RINA totally rocked it, Mostly because she has an actual band, and not a backing track. A true musician and performer.
I also commend her for her choice in the ‘backstage monitors’ she was wearing, as I own the same ones. For anyone that wants to rock out I highly recommend this group. This year was one of the few in the history of the event that I have not attended. But if I had, Seeing RINA would have made it worth it even if the rest of the event sucked. Coachella FLOPELLA.
